House with Stately Entrance and a Tile Deck

This is an Case of construction at the O Residence in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo.

A dignified entrance space.
Gate and arch are YKK-AP's Ex-Tiara Arch and special gate.
It is taller than a normal gate and has a strong presence.
Closed-type exterior is designed to be invisible to the outside world.
The other side of the door immediately becomes a space where privacy is protected.

A large spotted new psyllid is the main planting that decorates the entrance and gives the gate a gorgeous look.
At night, the gate is lit up to create a different mood from the daytime.

Garden side.
There are no tall buildings around, and the location is very open with a clear blue sky.

A long and wide tiled deck stretches horizontally.

The symmetry of the benches and pots creates a sense of elegance.
Indirect lights are placed under the floating benches, and at night, your feet will be enveloped in a soft glow.

Next to the tile deck, we built a brick path around the lawn.
You can walk around the path through an iron arch.

At night, it is lit up.

The lights shining from the ceiling to the floor brighten up the area around our feet.
Gate area is now bright and reassuring, even in the darkest of nights.

Garden lights are also placed in the planting area, allowing light to leak through the gaps between the plants.

On the other side of the door, the ceiling downlights shine, and the entrance is bright even at night.
